Steven Vasko’s 2001 Diorama

The “Clavius Base Astronaut/Monolith/Man-Ape” diorama is an old Lunar Models kit.  The build was pretty much out of the box, except for the thick fiber-optic strand used to depict the clear plastic air-hose on the Clavius Astronaut and the craft moss used for shrubby in the Man-Ape side of the model. The wooden base was bought at a local arts-and-crafts store and sanded and finished in “Pecan”
