Finished my Polar Lights Spindrift complete with Rojo’s and my decals. The exterior is painted Humbrol Satin Red with a coat of Testor’s GlossCote. The interior is painted with a homebrew light green.

The main stripes went on really smooth. I cut the fin stripes at the top corner to make application easier. Use water to place the decals and then apply drops of MicroSet once they are in place.

Note the grid under the dome. This decal was applied to a disk of clear styrene and glued in place inside the hull.

And, no, I haven’t figured out how to get the hull top to “snap” in place and remain removable!
