Robert Todaro’s Completed Batmobile

The lights in the dashboard are done with fiber optics and LEDs. The LED for the monitor looks to bright because of the camera setting but looks great in person.

A bats-eye view of the interior gives a nice shot of details like seatbelts and Bat-phone.

Tail view of completed model shows details of license plate and antenna. The white spots seen are not in the paint, they are reflections from the camera lighting. As you can see in the reflection of the rocket tubes on the trunk, the paint came out a high gloss oil-slick-black.

The parachute release cables are made of guitar string with tiny flat wire tabs soldered on for the latch.

The head lights are ultra bright white LEDs and the yellow lights are flat yellow LEDs.

Hood held up with prop shows off the under-hood plumbing, wiring and fire-extinguisher

The lens on the roll-bar antenna is made of clear red plastic filed into shape and polished.

The license plate is not a decal. It is photo etched, painted black. The lettering was done by removing the paint with a sharp toothpick.

The taillights are done with fiber-optics and red LEDs.
