Michael Danz’s SeaQuest and Stinger

This is a build I did about 15 years or so. The model is totally hand painted- the spots were painted individually one section at a time to ensure crisp patterns. The windows etc. are also hand painted based on very early internet pictures (there weren’t very many at the time). Color sort of based on the first episode of the second season showing the sub on the surface with some minor scratch-building that was done to enhance certain details. Only wish they made a bigger model as it would been more easier to work on!. Makes a great companion piece to the Stinger sub (currently under construction with a modified tail,etc.) and the deep-sea truck sub (also under construction).
