Dennis Hogan’s Robin

I was lucky enough to find this one for a small price. It is a 1/8 scale of Robin, The Boy Wonder. It is a cool little re-issue of the 60’s plastic figure kit.

Now, I really dig the detail, however, the Robin figure did not come with a “R” Insignia for his chest. Got to have that to be the REAL Robin! So, I improvised and I think it does at to the figure when it catches your view.

I also took some wire with rubber coating and simply wound silver wire around it. I drill a couple of small holes in the side of the wall with all the meters on it. This simple looks like some kind of cable hanging in the lab. ‘

Finally, I paint some buttons with silver. Let it dry and then paint “clear” colors over them. Oh yeah…one other little thing…I paint the thermometer with gloss white. Let it dry and then use some clear red to show a temperature reading.
