Dennis Hogan’s Alien Queen

This is an Alien Queen vinyl and resin kit. I had some small concern with the resin legs and hands on this particular kit. Actually, the real trouble was with the feet and fingers on this monster. Pretty fragile because they were resin pieces.  As for the paint, I used acrylics and mixed some blue, silver and black together to get this to look as it does.

Finally, because the balance on this particular figure was not great and it was somewhat delicate in it’s nature, I place a small metal spike in the wood base you see in the photos and then drilled a small hole in the Alien Queens heel. Now it stands and displays without much concern.
