Agatha Chamberlain’s Reliant

This is the ERTL Reliant. I have been working on it for several years off and on. Most of the delay involved creating the Aztec pattern. I know. There are all sorts of masking templates out there, but I always thought they produced too much of a “two-toned” appearance. The actual miniature had the Aztec pattern in a multi-toned mosaic. So I drew an Aztec decal and decaled the hull. The decals were applied over the basic hull color of Krylon Pewter Grey. The extreme close up of the hull section is actually from my Enterprise-A which is still under construction. It shows the multi-hued effect that I was looking for. The excessively OCD part of this whole project is that no two panels are alike.  One of these years I might get another Reliant kit (if one is available) and redo it. I have since improved the decals an am working on paneling other sections of the hull.
