Wonderfest 2011 Sneak Peak #9: 1:350 Refit Light Kit from Evans Lighting

Our friends at Evans Lighting have just released this spectacular light kit for the 1:350 Refit Enterprise from Polar Lights.   The kit utilizes LEDs and plexiglas “glow rods” to light this ship.

This kit is loaded with the following:

  • Navigation Circuit with 2 red, 2 green and 4 nav and 4 strobe lights
  • 6-3 mm yellow LEDs,
  • 35-5 mm white LEDs
  • 12-3 mm white LEDs
  • 4-5 mm red LEDs
  • 3-3mm red LEDs
  • 2-5 mm blue LEDs
  • 6- 3 mm blue LEDs
  • 2 nacelle glow rods
  • 1 shuttle bay glowrod
  • 2 recreation deck glowrods
  • K & S Engineering  3/8”  hollow aluminum rod
  • switch with battery clip.
  • heat shrink tubin
  • wires

Some soldering and electronics experience is recommended.   Needed tools include tweezers, file, aluminum foil or silver tape, CA, clear epoxy, heat gun, and soldering iron.   All LEDs are prewired for easier assembly.   The kit includes 17 page illustrated instructions.
