Wonderfest 2021 Sneak Peak #12 – King Kong!
King Kong has just been reissued from Atlantis, and he is about to invade Wonderfest. We’ll be bringing the model to the show, along with Kong’s Altar from Red Planet This reissue features the glow parts from the seventies and restores the missing “palm fronds.” If you recall, when Monogram reissued the kit in the 90s as a Luminator model, it was quickly discontinued when it was discovered parts were missing. The Polar Lights reissue also omitted the parts.
And we’ll have a few of Kong’s Altar, the add on kit to go with the Kong model. This is a resin extension of the base that depicts the altar that Ann Darrow was strapped to.
