Updates from Doll & Hobby, Atlantis, Monarch, and X-Plus
We are back from Wonderfest and we have a bit of news to share about upcoming kits.

Doll and Hobby Georgia, sister company to CultTVman, had on display the first test shot of the upcoming Sealab kit. The kit still needs minor revisions, and the packaging is still being finalized. We hope to have the kit available before the end of the year. Preorder in the CultTVman Hobbyshop.

The kit will be almost identical to the original kit, at least close enough to satisfy most model builders.

Also on display was the Witch reissue, coming later this summer. The packaging includes the deluxe style “ArtBox” like what was done with the Hunchback and Guillotine. You can preorder in the CultTVman Hobbyshop
Atlantis recently announced a number of vintage reissues and the upcoming Willy Ley Orbital Rocket was shown. This test shot was on display at the CultTVman booth. This kit has never been reissued, although the similar Passenger Rocket came out in 1996. This is slotted for late 2024 or 2025 from Atlantis. You can preorder now at the CultTVman Hobbyshop

Monarch Models is still working on the Konga kit. The model was previewed at Wonderfest in 2023, but it has been redesigned this year. Images of the revised model were on display at the CultTVman booth. The updated model features a larger scale figure, making it about the size of the Aurora Godzilla. The model was scheduled for late 2024, but it could be delayed. Preorder at the CultTVman Hobbyshop,
Finally, here is a look at the just released Rhedosaurus kit from X-Plus. There were a few kits available at the show, but the full shipment will be arriving soon. You can preorder in the CultTVman Hobbyshop. Also arriving soon is Marilyn Monroe and the Jurassic Park Blue and Beta kit.
I’ll follow up with info on the new kits coming from Round 2
