The Mighty Kogar – Monsters of the Movies from Moebius Models

The Mighty Kogar is an all new Monsters of the Movies kit coming in August from Moebius Models.   This is 1:12 scale styrene plastic model kit featuring the classic movie gorilla portrayed by the legendary Bob Burns.  The Kogar model comes with two bonus heads of Tracy the Gorilla from TV’s Ghostbusters, along with a Bob Burns head so you can build three different models.    The figure is sculpted by Jeff Yagher, who also created the upcoming Bride of Frankenstein figure from Moebius.   Box art is by Vincent DeFate.

The photos show a test shot of Kogar on display at Monsterpalooza in April 2012.

There will also be a Deluxe version of the kit with a second figure of Kathy Burns, the woman behind the man in the gorilla suit.    This Beauty and the Beast limited edition will include a styrene and resin figure of Kathy Burns, in addition to the Bob/Kogar/Tracy figure.   Kathy’s likeness has been sculpted by Ray Santoleri.  This Deluxe Edition will be available exclusively through CultTVman.
