Strange New Worlds Enterprise – Star Trek Mission Chicago

For me, one of the highlights of the Star Trek Mission Chicago event was seeing this model of the new Enterprise from Strange New Worlds. This is Pike’s ship from the upcoming series. There have been a few changes from it’s appearance in Star Trek Discovery. The bridge area is a bit different, along with windows on the outer rim of the primary hull. The coloring is more white-ish or light grey with silver highlights. The ship on Discovery was darker grey and more platinum colored highlights.

This model was not a filming miniature, but appeared to be something done to promote the show. The model was about 3 feetlong, Based on the appearance and wiring, it was outfitted for lighting which was not on at the show. The model was under a display case, so you will see some reflections in these images. Sorry about that!
