Round 2 shared new images of the upcoming “Studio Series” TIE Fighter on May the 4th. This kit was first hinted at in 2021 at Wonderfest and finally announced in 2022. The kit is now expected to be available in summer 2023. The model is over 13 inches tall and is based on the filming miniatures used in the original Star Wars (episode 4, A New Hope). The model includes a fully detailed cockpit, complete with Imperial pilot. Clear parts allow you to see inside, extra details not on filming miniature. The kit includes 128 parts, decals for detailing in and outside the model, and the standard dome base for display.
