Sneak Peak: Executive Officer Kane from Polar Lights

The Alien Kane kit is coming soon from Polar Lights. We offer this little peak at this 1:9 scale resin figure kit. It is designed to go with the MPC Alien figure. First off, a few shots of the box.

When you open the box, the resin parts sit in form fit black foam

and below the first tray you will find the kit base

The “egg” seems to be made out of a clear soft vinyl, not resin.

Stuffed inside the egg are three small sets of parts including the clear parts for the helmet.  The clear parts are styrene

A look at the head.   All the parts are well cast with sharp detail.  Not a lot of clean up needed.

This is a nice looking figure.  Can’t wait to see it built up.  These should be out soon from Round 2.    The kit was previewed at Wonderfest two years ago.
