Who knows why, but the decal sheet for this kit is severely “scale challenged”. Everything that has an edge, like the hanger bay door decals, is too big and slops over like crazy. I ended up scanning the thing at a hi rez, resizing it and reprinting the sheet. One other note: it’s way easier to attach the hanger bay deck decal (the one with the black/yellow target on it) to a separate piece of sheet styrene and then zap that to the real deck. Trying to get that big decal to behave itself down in that little space is a pain in the ass!
