Round 2 News: Star Trek Discovery models!

The big news at Wonderfest 2018 was Round 2’s announcement of new Star Trek Discovery kits coming in 2019.    The first models will be 1:2500 scale kits of the Discovery.   Beyond that, Round 2 wants to know what you want to see.    They had a display showing how large the ships would be in various scales.   It is worth noting that a 1:1000 Enterprise, as shown in Discovery, would be almost 19 inches.   That would make the Enterprise as shown on Discovery considerably larger than the accepted length of the Enterprise on the original series.   But then, Trek has always played fast and loose with ship sizes and continuity.   I expect there will be more information on the Round 2 newspage soon.
