Round 2 News for 2026 UPDATED – Star Trek, Star Wars, Black Hole, and more – new box art

We had a couple kit announcements from Round 2 yesterday, and now more updates to share today! Please note, all information here is tentative and subject to change. We don’t have any photos, pricing, or detailed info. Stay tuned

Enterprise B box cover

First, the USS Enterprise B is being reissued. No changes are expected. This was last produced 15 years ago. Look for it in late spring. This is listed for preorder on the CultTVman site.

PREORDER: Star Trek USS Enterprise-B ST:Generations – 1:1000 scale

There will an updated version of the Artemis II kit, with new decals and packaging. Look for it in late spring.

PREORDER: Artemis II launch vehicle with sticker – 1:200 scale 

Several previously announced kits should be available in late spring or early summer. We’re just waiting for all the details.

Star Wars: Luke’s Landspeeder on track for late spring, followed by the TIE Bomber. Both kits should arrive in early second quarter.

Star Trek: Round 2 is planning for a bunch of Trek kits this year as it is the 60th anniversary of the series. They are planning a Limited Edition reissue of the 1:350 scale Classic Enterprise. This will be just the production version, with deluxe packaging and decals. This is still in the planning stages, but they hope to have out out before summer. Also planned for this summer is a two-pack reissue of the Romulan Bird of Prey and Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser in 1:1000 scale. For those of you who have waited patiently, the light kits for the 1:350 Classic Enterprise and the 1:1000 Strange New Worlds Enterprise will finally arrive this summer.

More SF this summer: Maximillian from the Black Hole is expected early summer, along with the first kit from UFO. We’ll also see the Twisted Metal Sweet Tooth truck arriving.

Round 2 is still planning to have the Cygnus from The Black Hole later this year.

Toy Fair in February: Expect more announcements and details.
