Round 2 at Toy Fair
Toy Fair was held a couple weeks ago in New York and Round 2’s booth showcased upcoming releases and some new products. Most of these were expected to arrive this summer and we have the set up for preorder in the CultTVman Hobbyshop. Our thanks to Round 2 for these images.

The most exciting news was the announcement and display of a 1:32 scale TIE Interceptor. This kit is a variation on the TIE Fighter from a couple years ago, that uses the main body of the ship with new wing panels.

The upcoming ShadoMobile from Gerry Anderson’s UFO was on display. This kit will feature a detailed cab, rubber treads and rolling wheels.

Also on display was Luke Skywalker’s X-34 Landspeeder. This kit is molded in colored plastic, with decals for the stripes and damage. It is 1:12 scale.

The upcoming TIE Bomber was also shown. This 1:48 scale kit looks wonderful! That rounds out the new Star Wars products.

The big USS Enterprise in 1:350 scale was shown, confirming the reissue coming this year. The model will include weathering decals.

The Enterprise B was also previously announced and on display. This should be coming soon. That’s about all that was previewed for Star Trek.

The Twisted Metal Ice Cream truck was previewed. This was previously announced last year at Wonderfest, but this is the first look at the prototype.

John Wick’s 1969 Mustang is coming out with newly tooled details to match the movie series

Another new showbiz car is Bobby’s Impalla from the TV series Supernatural.

The Home Alone Van was announced a month ago, but this is our first look at the kit.

This one caught me by surprise. A new 1966 Dodge Van from the Batman TV series. This is still early in the design.

And too early to show is the 1974 Dodge Monaco Bluesmobile.
Take a look at Aaron Skinner’s tour of the Round 2 booth for these and several other automotive kits.
