WINDOWS PORTS PRIMARY HULL

Replacement window sections created by Arthur Pendragon includes relief detail of the windows and has the correct spacing of the bottom two ports. Also cast in water clear resins for lighting.

Two types of clear castings replace Rec. Room and Ships Mess facilities at the aft quarter of the Primary hull. Exterior detail indents is masked like other ports and windows.

Plot the area to be removed. Cut it away like the methods of holes drilled in a series and cut away with a craft knife…then smoothed out with files.

Examplex of window parts in place. Masking tape in the shape of rectangles with rounded corners and paper punched dots will mask the exterior indents. A lighted port will result when the masking tape is removed in the final finish.

The rec. deck clear section in place glued in with CA adhesives. Make sure the exterior surface of the part is flush fit to the exterior surface of the model. If gaps are apparent putty it your with a favored filler like Bondo. Sand to a smooth transition.
