Preview: Revell’s Last Jedi kits UPDATED

Updated with info on scale, details and the Target exclusive.  Added videos.

We’ve finally gotten our first look at the upcoming Last Jedi kits from Revell.   Much like their Force Awakens kits, these are small snap kits, with lights and sound, clearly aimed at younger kids.   Currently these are available through big box merchants.    I expect they will make it to the hobby market sometime in October.    Three kits are all new.  Retail pricing on these is about $25.

Resistance A-wing Fighter – 25 parts, including a pilot.  Features lighted engines and sound effects.   This is a Target exclusive for a month.  Scale unknown at this time

Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter – 20 parts with Kylo Ren figure.   Engines light up and features sound effects.  1:70 scale.  

First Order Heavy Assault AT-M6 Walker – 46 parts with poseable legs and head.   Includes lighted blasters and sound effects.  1:164 scale

Poe’s Boosted X-wing  – 21 parts with Poe figure.   Includes removable landing gear, battle sounds.   This  may be a repackaging of the older kit.  1:78 scale.   Update of the older X-Wing with some new parts.

Millennium Falcon – 19 parts, lighted engines, battle sounds, retracting landing gear.   Another likely repackage.   1:164 scale.  Reissue of older kit with new sound effects.
