News from Pegasus Hobbies: War of the Worlds Tripod

Pegasus Hobbies just released details on the upcoming War of the Worlds Alien Tripod.   The model stands 15 inches tall when assembled and comes with over 90 parts.   The 1:144 kit was based on the original computer models used in the movie.   The model comes with one tripod with arm lasers, tentacles and cages to build various configurations featured in the film.    It also features a transparent hood and clear eye lenses for lighting and comes with a base with logo.   Look for this in the third quarter of 2011
