Mat Irvine is coming to Wonderfest! UPDATE 5/15/2012

CultTVman will be sponsoring the appearance of Mat Irvine at Wonderfest!   I’ve known Mat for several years and have been working to bring him over as a guest to Wonderfest.  All the stars and planets have aligned and Mat will be joining us this year.    For those that may not be aware, Wonderfest is the biggest and best show for science fiction, fantasy and monster modelers.   It is held May 25-27th at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mat will be presenting K-9:  The Complete and Utter History of a Mechanical Mutt, covering his work with K-9 from the Tom Baker era to the more recent series with David Tennent and the Sarah Jane Chronicles.   Expect Mat to cover some of his other work at the BBC and discus his new book BBC VFX – The Story of the BBC Visual Effects Department

Mat will be signing his books at the CultTVman table in the dealers room.   We’ll have copies of BBC VFX, Creating Space, Scale Spacecraft Modelling and his newest book, Scale Car Modelling, at the Cult table available for purchase.   We’ll also have a few Doctor Who and K-9 figures on hand.
