Ken Meekins’ Keaton Batmobile

This is my model of the 1989 AMT-ERTL #6877 Batmobile from the movie Batman. The car was spray painted using 4 coats of satin black. WARNING! Once all of the coats were finished, it took a couple of days to dry all the way. I found out the hard way. It looks good now but if your in a hurry, use something else!

The “cockpit” door is removable so that you can show off the interior if you’d like. The way the model comes, the steering column is not quite right. It’s a bit too small. I used the bendy part of a sippy straw to give it more depth.
