Jeff Pollizzotto’s Starfury

This is the Monogram B5 Starfury kit built stock out of the box. The most time was spent on filling the seams and prep work. After the final assembly and primer, the model was painted with Tamiya paint. I mixed my own color using research found on line. After the color coats were applied, the kit was then weathered with Polly S gray using the dry brush technique. I used post it notes as a mask along the seam lines of the model. When this was complete, I then pulled out my trusty airbrush and further weathered the model with a darker shade of gray.

This was a fun kit to build and building out of the box is a rare opportunity for me.
