iHobbyExpo and more

I’m heading off to iHobbyExpo in Cleveland this weekend.   As always, I’ll post photos and updates as soon as I can.  Looking forward to seeing the folks from Moebius, Pegasus, and Round 2.   From what I understand, Revell is not attending this year.

We’ve also got new arrivals coming this week from Moebius.   The shipping department will be busy while I am out of the office, but given that we have a lot of orders to fill, it may be Monday or Tuesday before we are all caught up with orders.  Thank you for your patience!

A note about Facebook updates.   For the last couple months I have been posting the website updates only on the CultTVman Hobbyshop page.   Now Facebook is throttling back on how many people are seeing these updates and they want users to pay for promotion so more people will see the posts.   That kinda sucks if you ask me!   So I will start cross posting to the CultTVman Model Builders group and the CultTVman Fantastic Modeling Page, which I have not been using to this point.   I may also go back to posting on my personal page, but probably not until later in the year.   I want to spare you all my left wing liberal political posts!

The rest of the year will be busy for us modelers!   We’ll have new issues of Sci-Fi & Fantasy Modeller and Amazing Figure Modeller in the next couple weeks.   Moebius has a bunch of kits coming.  Look for the Jupiter 2 light kit, The Mighty Kogar, The Forgotten Prisoner, Iron Man Mk III reposed, Catwoman on the Bat Pod, Deluxe Dracula, and possibly the Creature and Mel’s Drive In before the end of the year.   I’ll have the Ghostly Green Munsters Houses in stock around the beginning of November.   Round 2 has the 1:350 Enterprise coming later this year.   Sounds like it will arrive before Christmas, but they have not announced an exact date.    I’ll have more details after iHobby.

One last thing, the CultTVman website turns 16 years old this month.  I’m pretty sure the website was launched aroud October 1996.    To celebrate, we’ll have a sale in the Hobbyshop, sometime after iHobby.   You won’t want to miss this!
