iHobbyExpo 2011: Revell and Atlantis kit announcements

Here are a few photos from the Revell booth at iHobbyExpo.   Of course, their releases cover a wide variety of aviation, automotive, and military subjects.   Of interest to the readers here are the Star Wars kits and a few others.

There were two Star Wars kits shown:  the X-34 Landspeeder and the TIE Fighter.

Also coming from Revell is a reissue of the 1:48 Mercury and Gemini Capsule set.

Other reissue kits coming from Revell that may appeal to CultTVman readers are:

  • Teracruzer with Missile 1:32 scale reissue of the Renewal kit
  • Ed Roth’s ’56 Ford F-100 Pickup
  • Tom Daniel’s Bad Medicine
  • Titanic Anniversary Speciall 1:400 scale

Atlantis Models and Megahobby were promoting the reissue of Blackbeard, one of the Bloodthristy Pirates from Aurora.   This is from an all new tooling and will include a new nameplate.

Atlantis was also displaying a nicely painted T-Rex, plus their new Bison and Black Bear kits.   They are looking into further reissues of older Aurora kits and hope to have further announcements at Wonderfest
