IHobbyExpo 2010 part 1
Here’s a bit of a round up from iHobbyExpo, courtesy of CultTVman.
The guys from Atlantis/Megahobby had Zorro on display as well as their new Black Bear and American Bison kits. They were displayiing images of several upcoming projects including the Aurora Blackbeard and Captain Kid, Big Horn Sheep, White Tail Deer, Gladiator, Sparticus, and Crusader.
The were also handing out a survey asking if there was interest in the following kits: Prehistoric Scenes T Rex, Cave Bear, and Saber Tooth Tiger, Forgotten Prisoner, Phantom of the Opera, and several others. It sounds like the rumor of a reissue T-Rex could happen.
Revell was showing this surprise. CultTVman can share that they are reissuing the Aurora Gold Knight, continuing the line of Knight reissues that started last year.
Revell also has a reissue of the 1:72 Shuttle with Boosters coming. And here is a look at build ups of the new Star Wars kits
Moving over to the Pegasus Hobbies booth, CultTVman can report that there are several new and exciting kits coming. First is the Mercury 9 rocket, an original design spacecraft.
Next is this cool looking Great White shark model. This is just the shark, which will come with two different heads. There will be some other parts to go with this model as well
Another new kit coming from Pegasus is the creature from The Relic. The photos shown here show just the figure. CultTVman has been told the actual model will have a base with plenty of details.
And here is another new kit from Pegasus that will please a lot of people. My Favorite Martian includes a figure of Uncle Martin, and the spaceship opens up.
The guys at Pegasus are also busy working on the War of the Worlds tripod from the 2003. Cult has been told there will be two kits, the first will be a large 15 inch model, followed by a smaller diorama with two tripods that are about 7 inches tall. Pegasus is also planing to move forward on their original Nautilus design as well.
