Grissom Test Shot from Round 2
Jamie Hood, the product manager for Polar Lights, showed a test shot of the USS Grissom model in a webcast on August 14. The model is expected to arrive before the end of the year. Jamie said the model is designed for lighting and that Round 2 would be producing a light kit to go with it. The light kit will also utilize fiber optics.
We are taking preorders for the Grissom in the CultTVman Hobbyshop. We will start taking preorders for the light kit once we have more information
Jamie also mentioned the ongoing shipping problem, which is creating delays in kit production. Basically, it has been difficult to get product onto ships coming from China, which is affecting everyone. This may affect when upcoming models will arrive at retailers.
