George Hitchins’ LIS Pod

This is the Lunar Models’ Space Pod, from Lost in Space. Many parts on this 1/35th scale kit were reworked and scratchbuilt. These include the antennas on front, the landing gear, thrusters, as well as homemade decals and the addition of model railroad lenses on the lights. The orange paint is Pactra “Orange Oxide” and the base was borrowed from the Lunar Models kit of the Destination Moon “Luna”.
