Frank DeCandia’s Masudaya Robby

This is a 1997 Masudaya 16″ Robby the Robot. Frank purchased this as a companion to his 1986 Masudaya 16″ YM-3 (“Lost in Space” B-9) Robot. “After much consideration I felt a 16” Robby would nicely round the growing B-9 collection on the hutch of my computer desk as “Book ends”. I later learned this Robby was only a replica of the original 1985 model.”

Frank eventually obtained an original 1985 Robby. He is now a nicely built “black face” Robby.
