Darrell Ritchie’s Hawk Attack Ship

This is the Mark IX Hawk Attack Ship featured in the SPACE: 1999 episode “War Games”, and it is the resin kit released by WARP Models. Unlike the old Airfix kit, which was inaccurate on so many levels, it is extremely accurate, well porportioned, and surprisingly detailed given it’s size. It was my first attempt at building a resin piece, but with the exception of a couple of the painted areas, I thought it turned out very well. My only gripe is that, for what you have to pay for this kit, they could have at least included a display stand!
