CultTVman Updates: Privacy and other odds and ends

Just a few updates from CultTVman!

Updated Privacy Policies

I’ve updated the Privacy Policy on the CultTVman Hobbyshop.  This is to better provide transparency as to how your personal data is used.   New privacy standards for the European Union affect virtually everyone doing business on the internet, including CultTVman.    If you want more information about these new laws, do a Google search on GDPR.   These new laws go into effect on May 25.  If you shop in the CultTVman Hobbyshop, please be sure to read the new privacy policy.

We have also updated the privacy policy as it pertains to the CultTVman mail list.  If you subscribe to this, you have already been sent an email asking you to provide consent to send you the CultTVman Hobbyshop Updates.    You’ll need to follow the link in the email and check the box saying you want to receive the Updates.

We will also be posting a privacy policy for this page.  I just have not gotten around to writing it yet.  It will be similar to the Hobbyshop Privacy Policy

Moebius Models and Revell. 

As you may have heard, Moebius Models was sold earlier this year to Larry and Tom from Pegasus Hobbies.    This may cause some product delays but we have no specifics.   Some kits may go out of stock while we wait for redeliveries.   The Franklin and the Convair spacecraft were the first releases under the new owners.

Revell USA has shut down and both Revell USA and Revell Germany are now owned by a German corporation.    We still don’t know the full impact of this.

Wonderfest is coming!

Wonderfest is coming fast, the first weekend in June.  As always, this is a huge event for us.    We’ll be very busy getting ready for the show in the last couple weeks of May.   I hope you have plans to join us at the show.  CultTVman is sponsoring Sybil Danning’s appearance, and there are many other great guests from the visual effects industry.    Wonderfest is like no other convention or model show anywhere.

CultTVman is growing!

CultTVman’s Hobbyshop will be moving to a much larger office and warehouse in May.   This will allow us to better serve all our customers.   I’ll post more about this soon.

What else?

Lots of great movies to see this summer – Solo, Deadpool 2, Infinity War.   Lost in Space on Netflix has been a blast to watch.   Check it out.  No news of any model kits…
