Chuck Edwards’ Spindrift

Here’s a shot of my original Aurora ‘Spindrift’, it’s from the ‘ 75 -‘ 77 reissue. I bought it already assembled, so the first thing I did was to take it apart and strip all the old paint off. It went back together very nicely, and it even got some filling and sanding this time around! The painting was greatly facilitated by the use of flexible plastic tape. The final details on the exterior are the home-made decals. (this was the quickest photo shoot of a model I ever did because I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes, imagine the poor ‘little people’!)
