Chris Kenyon’s Munsters Living Room

I have always really wanted to build this model but was totally turned off by the ridiculous coffin chair they had Lily sitting in and the silly TV with the rabid rabbit on top.

I purchased the model anyway on eBay and then searched for plastic dollhouse furniture. I found a plastic sofa for a dollhouse from the 1940s for about $1 so I purchased it and used it instead of the coffin chair. To me it seems much more authentic to the classic TV show.

I also found a plastic dollhouse floor-standing radio and purchased that to replace the TV included with the kit.
After using a black and white color palette and about 5 shades of grey, I am really happy with the results.
