Cesare Tatarelli’s Corgi Batmobile
It’s not really a model but I restored this Corgi Batmobile using parts I got from toytinker.com
After countersinking the rivets, which was a harrowing experience, I disassembled the car and painted and detailed all the parts. I followed instructions for disassembly found at toytinker.com, which were invaluable. Putting the car back together was not too difficult, my goal was to keep all the parts working, the chain cutter and rocket launcher as well as to ‘accurize’ the car. Joining the body halves did not go too smoothly as the self-sinking screws were too large, so a healthy dose of super-glue was needed. I am still pleased with the results though, it was lot of fun to do.
