Cameron Dingler’s Addams Family House updated

I purchased the Polar Lights ADDAMS Family Glow in the Dark house to possibly put with my HO train set. I started the kit the day I got it and I almost finished building when I just set it on the shelf where it mocked me every day like the Raven from the Edgar Allen Poe Poem. Well, a week ago I pulled it down after watching “Lurches little Helper” and a few other episodes and I got back to work. I live in Las Vegas and happen to be friends with Felix Silla. Or better known to ADDAMS Family Fans as “Cousin IT” After laughing, I started work again and what you see in the pictures is the end result. I made several new window dressings to include Cousin IT, I weathered the outside and chose what I thought would be a good Gothic color scheme. The tree in the back porch is actually growing through the porch and the background is my computer screen with the so appropriate lightning. I soon hope to get Felix to sign the roof of the mansion.

UPDATE Aug, 2008:  I finally got Felix to sign the Mansion. Funny thing we live in the same city and it takes a Star Trek con to get me to drag a model to him. He was very gracious and signed my model and we sat it on his table while he signed autographs (he got offers for it) LOL. I’m just glad he enjoyed seeing it now I need to find another one to build for him
