Brian Oshenska’s Viper

I built this Viper from the re-issued Monogram kit dated 1997. The entire model was spray-painted with Testor’s Flat Light Ghost Gray. The rear-engine section and nose area were painted with Testor’s Flat Euro Gray. The original decals were used. I did not use the decals for the windows on the canopy. I painted those with Testor’s Flat Black. Weathering was done with varying shades of powered charcoal colors. Dark gray and black were used the most, especially in the rear engine section. Silver paint was dry-brushed on surface edges to give the appearance of the paint being stripped away. Overall, I am very pleased with how this kit turned out.
