Bob Koenn’s Hot Dogger Hangin’ Ten

I built 2 or 3 of these models when I was about 12 so it was fun doing this one.  It actually was a birthday present for our now 33 year old son who used to surf here at Cocoa Beach but now lives kind of far from the water in Austin, TX.  The Silly Surfer models probably are hardly the best models themselves as far as quality but the subject matter is what counts and with lots of loving care, and putty, they can turn into very cool models.  I will probably do one for myself and some of the others someday and they certainly don’t hurt the pocketbook much.  And of course the subject matter is humorous and was very appropriate back then with the surfer craze out of California.
