Bob Canfield’s Enterprise B

Here are some pics of my completed Enterprise B (Starcrafts 1/1400 scale). I used an off white base coat (with a little grey mixed in) and the following:

  • Ocean Mist blue (Regal Relm Fantasy Paint) for the aqua panels
  • Bronze for the Saucer neck area
  • Light grey for the other secondary hull panels
  • Light sky blue for some of the windows
  • Dark grey for the Deflecto Tunnel
  • JT Graphics decal sheet.

I found that using those really sharp point felt tip pens from Hobby Lobby were great for doing the windows and the saucer rim stripes.

My only crisis was near the end when my dog Ginger decided she wanted to chew on the bottom panel of the secondary hull. A little putty, some sanding, some touch up paint and things were back to normal and Ginger was out of the dog house.
