Bob Burns, Kogar and Aurora Models!

I was hired for a big toy show in LA to represent Aurora kits. The King Kong kit was just being released so I sort of played Kong. I think that the kids enjoyed the gorilla more than anyone. The great thing about this is they gave me all the Monster kits before they were on the market. How cool is that?

This was at a toy shop in North Hollywood right after the kits came out. The store had a contest for kids to build and paint the Aurora Monster kits. The winner got to hang out with Kogar for a few hours. The little kid holding on to Kogar won the contest. He did the Frankenstein kit but he couldn’t hold it and hold on to me too so his kit didn’t get tin the photo.

I had a pretty good association with Aurora for a year or so. Those were fun times.
