2001 Discovery – 1:96 scale from Kaiyodo

Kaiyodo has announced they will be producing a 1:96 scale 2001 Discovery.  This model will be about 63 inches long.    Kaiyodo had a 3D printed model on display at Wonderfest this year.    They expect to have this out later this year.     The model will be available in three versions — a plastic model kit, a Standard Replica, and a Masterwork Replica,   The model kit will be styrene injected.   The Standard Replica will be a built and painted model.   The Masterwork Replica will be a high end, hand detailed, finished model with 3D printed parts and photoetch details.
