I know you get a ton of these. This is one I painted up for a buddy of mine. The ship is your typical ERTL Bird Of Prey. I lit it up using LED's. Powered by 2 AAA batteries concealed in the base. The Klingon bust was a product of Endless Enterprises. I chopped it off it's base. Normally I would just sculpt something like this, but I liked the way it looked, so I gave it a faux bronze finish. The rock is a cold cast bronze piece I had in my shop for about 3 years that I did nothing with until I did this piece.

I painted the entire piece with chrome spray paint. I then applied the colors onto the surface. I took steel wool to scrape off layers in order for the chrome paint to wear through. Then, I hit the surfaces with my washes, giving it a dirty look that is prevalent in all of the Star Trek movies and episodes.
