Scott Copeland's Alien Space Jockey

This is a Halcyon "Space Jockey" vinyl kit I picked up on Ebay cheap awhile back, it didn't have the box, the astronaut figures or instructions but the price was right.

I was very happy with the finished results, this was the easiest vinyl kit I ever built. Other than fixing some warped parts with hot/cold water and minimal filling he went together very nicely.

I primed him with flat black, then lightly misted him with bronze from a spray can. I then went crazy with washes and drybrushing with metallic acrylics and enamels till I thought he looked right. I then sealed the whole thing with dullcoate, and misted the jockey lightly with some future to give him a more organic look.

I only put about 5-6 hours into him(mostly painting), but am more happy with the results than others I put ten times more time and effort into!
