Richard Piper's Cyberman

Well ive completed the next Doctor Who SEVANS model... the Cyberman from 1987.  This was a little tricker than the Dalek or Davros due to its size and due to alignment of the torso parts. The torso came in two halves and was cut from plastic sheets instead of tree rods (I think thats what you call them!).   When it came to sanding down the halves and trying to get the tightest fit possible it took a painstakingly long period of time.  Milliput was again used to fill the gaps and Humbrol silver matt was used to get the desired effect with a black wash to finish.  The version I aquired off E-Bay did not include the belt buckle or the required decals for the blaster, but nevermind with a little perserverance i managed to paint lines on the gun instead of using the missing decals and I fashioned a strap buckle with waste plastic.

I must say a very enjoyable model to build just a shame about the missing parts...but hey 1987 was alongtime ago and it was a second hand opened box!
