SS IVANOVA/NCC-1777...model is the prototype for my "Avenger" TOS cutaway "E" conversion set. The
saucer is from the 22" kit.
Aft hull is a seriously re-worked 'Reliant' stern, narrowed, chopped, and channeled, with the outer flanks angled to match the saucer-rim. The end-cap (impulse-engines and shuttle-bay doors) and underbody-extension were scratchbuilt. 'Reliant' weapons pod (wings removed) and altered engine-pylons. Center-pylon scratchbuilt. Warp engines from the "E" with open gaps from original pylons sealed.
Painted with flat white spray paint, weathered with pastels and dry-brushed acyrilics.
Detailed with pens, pencils, and silver mylar trim-tape (saucer-bands and along stern-flanks. Windows cut from white trim-tape and accented with gel-pens. Decals from both ERTL kits and assorted leftovers from other kits.
