In Copley Square. Trinity Church, designed by H. H. Richardson and built in 1877, is to the left. The old John Hancock building in the middle, and the glass one is the John Hancock Tower, at 60 stories, it is the tallest building in New England. It was designed by I. M. Pei (and Henry Cobb). Construction lasted from 1972 to 1975.

Ye olde Swan Boats in the Boston Public Garden. The business has been in the same family since the the very start, in 1877.

In front of the Massachusetts State House designed by Charles Bulfinch. The dome, originally wood shingled, was later sheathed in copper and covered with 23 karat gold.

Old Ironsides. The U.S.S. Constitution was launched on October 21, 1797.
The Constitution is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world.

Don't know what the story is with the sign, but it's kinda cool. "Don't go out without your Safety Shoes!" 
 

Fire Truck parked in front of the Children's Museum. Anyone know anything about fire trucks? I don't!
