William Mattes’ Spiderman and Green Goblin

This was actually two kits: the Horizon Spiderman and the Green Goblin models. I combined the two into this action scene. The painting was all done by hand with alot of drybrushing to finish it up. The Goblin is attached to Spiderman with a metal rod to give him the illusion of flying behind the web swinger. Spidey’s web was hand made by taking a clothes hanger wire and spinning around hot glue from a hot glue gun. It was then drybrushed silver black. The webs on the custom base were also created using hot glue.
