I thought it was about time to finish my 18″ Enterprise before the end of the millennium. Here are some pictures of the model not on the bench but on a stick now
I weathered the model to let it look really old (considering we are now in the 24. “Trek” Century) like the original studio-model after its recent renovation.
That is one reason why it took so long finishing the model: I applied too much pastels to the bottom of the primary hull so I had to paint that part again. Fortunately I had two sets of decals.
There is nothing more to say except that it is my debut and I hope that I am now practiced enough for my next model: The U.S.S. Voyager.
