  1. Looks pretty accurate. Will go nicely with my Galactica. One observation though: In a world that we live in we are used to technology getting smaller and sleaker, ie: IPads, cellphones and fighter aircraft. In the Galactica world it appears to be just the opposite: The Pegasus is a later model ship than the Galactica yet it is bigger and clunkier. I Wonder why the show designers went this route. The evolution of the Viper designs seem to belong to a more realistic real-world train of thought but this does not seam the case with Battlestars.

  2. I can’t wait for this model !!!! But on slakr’s comment I think the designer was going by aircraft carriers
If you look at Nimitz class carriers and Regan class the Regan is lot bigger and more powerful.
Also Pegasus had a viper assembly plant on the ship. Pegasus was a self efficient space ship
Again just like our navel ships are today in the military.

  3. If you think of the Galactica as a WWII Essex-class carrier and the Pegasus as a Nimitz class-it makes sense.
