Luigi Vaccarini's Time Machine

This complete set of the The Time Machine was built entirely from scratch. Everything you see, except the display box, was made, by me, completely by hand and from parts I purchased from an art supply outlet and an hardware store. Absolutely no pre-cut or ready made parts were used. Because of the limitations of the materials used, the model, as a whole, looks very much like the original one but close attention to details will reveal many differences and some imperfections.

The materials used are: Telephone wires, Heavy copper nuts, Brass rods, Foamboard, Drawer handles, Coat buttons, Beads, Various colors of heavy paper, Red fabric, Rubber gaskets and caps, A lot of glue and even more patience. As far as tools, I used: Scissors, Rulers, Compass, Pencil, Cutter, Hammer, Screwdriver, Gold pen, High grade crayons (for the background image), pliers and some Amiga4000 computer print-outs for the tag and the clock's face.

The whole project took me 8 days to complete.
